LCD appointed
as design consultant by Shepherd Construction Ltd.
The scheme involves the creation of an environmentally
sustainable “swimming pond” around the
main entrance to the new DEFRA building at Weybridge,
south-west London.

LCD launches
its new Health and Safety Policy.
In a constant drive for safer sites, LCD has launched
a new Health and Safety Policy. The main aim has
been to provide a useable document that is easy
to read, and gives a clear understanding an individuals
responsibility.

LCD completes
work at North Street, Leeds.
Working in tandem with Barr Construction on this
development of flats, the scheme was based around
the concept of an urban courtyard with the added
technical difficulty of a waterproof podium deck.
The project involved both soft and hard landscapes.

LCD completes
work at Freeport Retail Outlet, Castleford.
Encompassing the complete renovation of 4 “piazza”
spaces, LCD developed a homogenous scheme for the
overall site, whilst still allowing a distinct identity
for each of the 4 squares which took advantage of
the differing aesthetic and functional qualities
of each. Working in tandem with Shepherd Construction
Plc, LCD was responsible for both the scheme design
and construction. The project involved both soft
and hard landscapes.

LCD to support
Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People.
Following on from a successful event at Christmas,
LCD has asked Martin House to be our chosen charity
for the forthcoming year. A timetable of fundraising
events is currently being scheduled.

LCD appoints
Lee Sudlow as Assistant Landscape Architect.
Lee studied at Leeds Metropolitan University where
he gained a 2:1 in Landscape Architecture. He will
be returning part-time to Leeds in September to
undertake his Graduate Diploma whilst continuing
to work for LCD. |
